API Terms
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the morphedra Whiteboard Video API (the "API"), provided by AN-MAYS (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED, Pakistan ("morphedra", "we", "us"). They are in addition to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Refund Policy. If they conflict, these API Terms apply to the API. By creating or using an API key you accept them.
1. Accounts and keys
- You are responsible for everything done with your keys. Keep them secret, keep them on servers, and never put them in web pages, apps or public code.
- You can have up to 5 active keys and can revoke a key at any time. If a key is exposed, revoke it at once.
- You must be allowed to enter a contract, and if you use the API for an organization, you confirm you may bind it.
2. Test keys and live keys
Test keys give a small number of free test videos (currently 3, up to 15 seconds each) with a watermark. They are for evaluation only. We may change or end the free allowance at any time. Live keys make real videos and are paid from your API balance.
3. Prices, balance and billing
- The price is currently $1.80 per minute of finished video, billed per second, with a shortest charge of 10 seconds. The current price is always shown on the developer page and in the documentation. A price change applies to requests made after it is published.
- The API uses a prepaid balance that you add in packs. It is separate from in-app illustration and video credits and cannot be converted into them.
- When you submit a video, we reserve the largest amount it can cost (max_duration_seconds at the price per second). When it finishes, we charge the real length, never more than the reserved amount, and release the rest. A video that fails, or that you cancel while it is queued, is not charged.
- Taxes may be added at checkout by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy.
- API balance does not expire while your account is in good standing.
- API balance is non-refundable, as set out in the Refund Policy. You are charged only for finished videos.
4. Your content and your rights
- You keep your rights in the figures, scripts and notes you send ("Inputs"). You confirm that you own them or have the right to use them this way, and that they do not infringe anyone's rights or break any law.
- You give us permission to store, process and display your Inputs only as needed to make your video, run the service, keep it secure and meet legal duties. We process Inputs with third-party AI and cloud providers acting for us; see the Privacy Policy.
- You may use videos made with a live key, including commercially, subject to your rights in your Inputs and to these terms. We do not issue commercial-use certificates or separate licences for API videos, and the licence certificates sold with our Corporate video packs do not apply to the API. Videos made with a test key carry a watermark and are for evaluation.
- Narration written by the service (when you give no script) is produced by AI. It can contain mistakes. You are responsible for checking a video before you publish or rely on it.
5. Not allowed
You must not use the API to:
- send personal health information, patient records, government identity numbers, payment card numbers or other personal identifiers of people who have not agreed to it. The API may refuse requests that look like they contain such data, and that check is not a guarantee;
- make videos that are illegal, defamatory, harassing, sexually explicit, or that mislead people about who made them or what they show;
- break, probe or overload the service, bypass limits, or make test keys or accounts in bulk to get free videos;
- point the service at internal or private addresses, or use it to attack other systems;
- resell raw access to the API under your own key to others without our written agreement, or use the service to build a competing product;
- do anything the Acceptable Use Policy forbids.
6. Limits, availability and changes
- The API has limits, currently 30 requests per minute per key, 2 videos running at once, up to 6 figures per video and up to 600 seconds. We may change limits.
- The service is provided without a guaranteed uptime or processing time. We may change, suspend or end parts of it. We will try to give notice of changes that break existing use, but we do not promise it.
7. Webhooks
If you give a webhook address, we send job events to it. You are responsible for the receiving system, for checking the signature, and for handling repeated events. We retry failed deliveries a limited number of times.
8. Data retention
We keep our copy of your figures and the finished video files for 90 days after creation and then delete them. Video records stay available in the API for 30 days. Download what you need to keep. We may keep limited records longer for billing, security and legal reasons.
9. Suspension and ending
We may suspend or revoke a key or account at once if we believe these terms are broken, the service is being abused, or there is a security or legal risk. You can stop using the API at any time by revoking your keys. Unused balance on an account we end for a breach of these terms is not refunded.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The API is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of AI output, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, data or reputation. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the API is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the API in the three months before the claim and US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
Governing law and the place where disputes are resolved are as set out in our Terms of Service.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the API after a change, you accept it. Questions: support@morphedra.com.
