Terms of Service

Welcome to morphedra, a product of AN-MAYS (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED, a company registered under the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, application, and services (collectively, the "Services") operated by AN-MAYS (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED. By accessing or using morphedra, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

1. Description of Service

morphedra is a scientific visualization & communication platform that enables users to generate research-focused content including, but not limited to:

  • Scientific and academic social media posts
  • 2D and 3D scientific illustrations
  • Conceptual, mechanistic, and grant-ready figures
  • morphedra-generated scientific videos and visual explanations
  • Conference, journal, and institutional research highlights

The Services are provided online via your registered account and are intended to assist research communication, not replace expert judgment, peer review, or regulatory oversight.

2. Account Registration and Responsibility

You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at support@morphedra.com.

3. Subscription, Usage & Payments

morphedra offers flexible pricing options including monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, and one-time Figure Credit packs — all processed securely via Lemon Squeezy. Pricing, plan limits, and usage quotas are described on our Pricing page and may change over time.

Figure Credits are one-time purchases that never expire and can be used at any time. Subscription plans include monthly illustration allocations that reset on each billing renewal date and do not carry forward. Team and institutional plan illustration pools are shared annually across all seats and do not roll over upon renewal.

4. Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on your purchase type:

  • Figure Credit packs (one-time purchases): non-refundable once credits have been used. Unused credit packs may be refunded within 7 days of purchase on request.
  • Monthly subscription plans: non-refundable; however, requests submitted within 24 hours of purchase are considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Annual subscription plans: refundable within 15 days of purchase.

Refund requests must be submitted via Account Settings, the Team Dashboard, or by contacting support@morphedra.com. Outside these windows, payments are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including but not limited to: attempting unauthorized access, reverse engineering, generating unlawful content, or using the platform in ways that violate ethical, academic, or regulatory standards. Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.

6. Privacy & Data Processing

Your content is never used to train or fine-tune morphedra's own systems. We do not sell user data. We use third-party AI providers only through paid commercial API services whose terms state that your inputs and outputs are not used to train their models. We do not otherwise use user-generated content to train AI models. Data may be processed by trusted third-party providers (e.g., hosting, authentication, AI inference) solely to deliver the Services.

7. Generated Content License

Subject to compliance with these Terms and your active subscription plan, morphedra grants you a limited license to use content generated through the Services, subject to the conditions below.

  • Illustrations (2D and 3D): You are granted a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute generated illustrations for academic, research, educational, and commercial purposes.
  • Standard Videos: Videos generated under standard or non-licensed plans are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license for academic, educational, internal, and non-commercial use. Public, commercial, promotional, advertising, or broadcast use may require an upgraded or licensed plan.
  • Licensed / Corporate Videos: Videos generated under designated licensed or corporate plans are granted a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive commercial license, allowing use in marketing, advertising, investor materials, institutional promotion, websites, and other commercial contexts, subject to the specific license terms associated with that plan.

morphedra retains ownership of the underlying platform, models, workflows, and generation processes. morphedra may display generated content from individual accounts in public galleries, demonstrations, or marketing materials unless the user opts out where such option is available. Content generated under free plans may be displayed publicly after 90 days. Content generated under Team, Institutional, and Enterprise plans is never displayed publicly or used in marketing materials without your prior written permission, and this commitment prevails over any other provision of these Terms.

You retain ownership of the text and other inputs you submit. You grant morphedra a limited, non-exclusive license to process your inputs solely to provide the Services to you. You confirm that you have the right to submit your inputs, and you must not submit personal data of others, patient data, or other confidential information that you are not authorised to share with our service providers.

8. Intellectual Property

The morphedra platform, including its software, models, prompts, workflows, and branding, is the intellectual property of AN-MAYS (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the license granted above, no rights are transferred to you.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” morphedra does not guarantee scientific accuracy, funding success, publication acceptance, or regulatory approval. To the maximum extent permitted by law, morphedra shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, morphedra's total liability for any claim arising out of the Services is limited to the amount you paid to morphedra in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email or in-app notice of material changes. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, except that mandatory consumer or data protection laws that apply to you and cannot be waived by contract remain unaffected. The competent courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any mandatory right you have to bring a claim in the courts of your own country. Where a Data Processing Agreement applies, it governs the processing of personal data as stated in that agreement.
